The world demands that a woman be young, slim, wrinkle-free, and seductive in order to be considered beautiful. This woman is not young, care-free, or alluring. But she is beautiful. .Angela is a lady of 100 years of age who lives in a small town in Calabria, Stefanaconi, Italy. The original photo by Raffaele Montepaone touched my heart. I received enthusiastic permission from him to interpret his art-form, photography, into my art-form, bronze sculpture. This sculpture is about the concept that the value and appeal of a woman is not dependent on the ideas that the world promotes.
